GENERAL INFORMATION

RIDING IN NEWBOROUGH FOREST

Permits are required to ride in the forest and on  Malltraeth and Newborough beaches.  7 day permits may be obtained from Newborough Post Office and Tal y Foel Riding Centre during opening hours or by contacting Maureen Parry-Williams on 01248 440668.

Yearly permits should be re-applied for by 1 April.  Number of permits restricted.   When applying for a permit you will be required to give details of your Public Liability insurance.  Contact Maureen for details.

When visiting the forest, please use the parking area at the end of  Malltraeth Cob, keep to the allocated tracks as designated on the map and please remove droppings from the parking area before you leave!
